brit:
“Research reveals people make a subconscious judgment about a person, environment, or product within 90 seconds of initial viewing and that between 62% and 90% of that assessment is based on color alone.”
One of my favorite papers I did in college was related to this concept (you know, red environments make you feel impulsive and daring, blue makes you feel calm and more likely to make larger luxury purchases) — so fascinating!
Also, looking over this makes me think about the all important decision of wedding colors. What colors and feelings do I want to express with my wedding? We’re thinking about a grey and white base with mustard yellow and/or slate blue for color. Yeah? Sounds classy to me and those are some of Fiance’s favorite colors (I have long eschewed favorite colors, can’t pick just one).
